Does the certificate expire?

No. Risknowlogy training certificates are knowledge certificates — they do not expire.

When is the exam taken?

Immediately after the course — no separate scheduling needed.

What if I fail the exam?

One retake is free of charge. Contact Risknowlogy and a new exam access window will be arranged.

Will I get a Safety Passport®?

Yes. Every participant who completes a Risknowlogy training and takes an exam receives a personal, online Safety Passport® documenting their achievement and level.

What is the difference between the HRA Specialist and the LOPA Facilitator certificate?

The HRA Specialist is a knowledge certificate — it confirms you understand the LOPA methodology. The LOPA Facilitator is a role certificate — it confirms you can plan, lead, and document LOPA sessions in real projects. Both are awarded based on the exam and a practical assessment.

How does LOPA relate to HAZOP?
